One-on-One Consultations

Diabetes is a demanding disease, and 99 percent of diabetes care is self-care.  The majority of decisions that affect your health take place not during visits to the doctor, but in the workplace, in restaurants, and in the workplace.

We know that people who live a healthy life including the right food and exercise, can avoid complications from diabetes.  However everyone has a unique experience with diabetes and how they manage it.  Our job at the Diabetes Center is to help you make the changes needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  If you would like to talk with someone about your personal experience with diabetes and how you can improve, call for an appointment with our nurse practitioner or dietitian.

To schedule an appointment please call the Johns Hopkins Scheduling Office at (410) 955-7139.
