 Amenorrhea -- Absence of menstrual bleeding

 Cervical eversion (ectropion) -- The migration of cells from the lining of the endocervical canal (endocervix) to the outer portion of the cervix (ectocervix). Often mistakenly termed cervical erosion.

 Cervical polyps -- Grapelike growths from the surface cells lining the cervix.

 Cervix -- The narrow opening at the mouth of the uterus

 Colposcopy -- Inspection of the vagina and cervix with a special scope)

 Dilatation and Curettage (D&C) -- A procedure in which the cervix is widened, and tissue samples are obtained from the uterine lining.

 Dyspareunia -- Pain that occurs only (or primarily) during sexual intercourse.

 Hirsutism -- Unusual hair growth on the face and body caused by an increased production of masculinizing hormones

 Endometrial tissue -- The tissue that lines the uterus

 Hysterectomy -- The surgical removal of the uterus (and sometimes other reproductive organs)

 Hysteroscopy -- Viewing the uterine lining with a camera

 IUD -- Intrauterine birth control device.

 Laparoscopy -- A minor procedure involving the insertion of a scope through a small incision in the abdomen to view the ovaries

 Menorrhagia -- Heavy menstrual bleeding

 Moniliasis -- Also known as Candidiasis

 Myomectomy -- Surgical removal of the fibroids that leaves the uterus intact

 Pap smear -- A procedure in which a small sample of cells is scraped from the cervix and examined under the microscope

 Peritonitis -- Infection of the abdominal cavity

 Thrush -- Oral infections

 Trichomoniasis -- Infection by a tiny, one-celled organism called a protozoan

 Unopposed estrogen replacement therapy -- Taking estrogen without progesterone

 Vaginismus -- A condition characterized by involuntary spasms of the vaginal muscles
