
The A.R.T. Laboratories include an Andrology Laboratory located on the concourse level of the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center, and an Embryology Laboratory located in Outpatient Surgery on the lower level of the same building. Our Andrology Laboratory offers:

- Sperm Recovery Studies
- Strict Morphology
- Dye Exclusion/ Viability testing
- Sperm Senescence for Male Infertility
- Qualitative Semen Fructose
- Specimen preparation for A.R.T. procedures:
- Intrauterine Inseminations
- Donor Inseminations
- In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) & Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
- Testicular Sperm Extraction (TESE) and Microsurgical Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (MESA)
- Semen cryopreservation and storage for oncology patients and for patients in the A.R.T. Program is also available.
Appointments for diagnostic testing and Sperm Cryopreservation are available weekdays between 7:30am and 2:00pm. Appointments are scheduled by calling (410)-955-1320 between 7:30am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. For A.R.T. procedures, scheduling is coordinated through your physician’s office.

Our caring and accomplished team has a combined experience of over 30 years in ART. In addition to board certifications in Embryology and in Andrology, members of our team hold professional memberships in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American Society of Andrology, College of Reproductive Biology, American Association of Bioanalysts, Alpha, American Society of Clinical Pathology, and Association of Genetic Testing.
