The mission of the Johns Hopkins Gynecology and Obstetrics Department is to lead, promote and advance the health and well-being of women through excellence and responsibility in patient care, honest and pioneering scholarship and progressive continuing education.

At the Johns Hopkins Birthing Center parents are able to take advantage of a wide-range of services including parenting classes, lactation consultation, and individual consultations.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital main entrance is located at 600 N. Wolfe Street in East Baltimore. Pick up a visitor pass at the information desk and proceed to the second floor of the Nelson building.
