Making an Appointment

A single phone call, an e-mail, or a request on our website will initiate your appointment process. Our coordinators will help you choose an appropriate physician or specialist at one of our hospitals or ambulatory care centers. They also can assist you by coordinating multiple appointments, arranging medical record reviews or second opinions, providing general information about Johns Hopkins' many services, and making other arrangements for your visit.

Johns Hopkins USA provides one point of contact for out-of-town patients, helping you identify the appropriate physician or specialist to see, coordinate multiple medical appointments, arrange second opinions, and obtain general information about Johns Hopkins' many services. In addition, Hopkins USA staff can provide information related to transportation, lodging and other travel needs.

Johns Hopkins International Patient Services
Johns Hopkins International Patient Services coordinates all aspects of international patients' medical care, paying special attention to their personal, cultural and travel-related needs. The professional staff helps arrange consultations, second opinions or treatment, and coordinates appointments in a time-efficient manner. Medical record review, language interpretation, cost estimates, and assistance with travel arrangements are also offered.
